Sharing Hope

The number of abandoned dogs we see here in East Texas is astronomical. There are many reasons why, but God put it on my heart to start a pet food ministry. With the rising cost of food, buying pet food is a hardship for some people. Pets are an important part of people’s lives — they give unconditional love in a world that can sometimes be cruel and lonely.

Through generous donations, we are now able to give away multiple free neuters and spayings through a drawing each month.

A year of Sharing Hope

We completed our first year of serving the community in March 2026. At that very first giveaway in March 2025, we helped feed 104 dogs and 110 cats in a single day. I was worried about running out of food — and just as I ran out of cat food, a lady pulled into the parking lot and handed us 60 cans. God is good.

In May 2025 we began holding a drawing for free neuters and spayings. That month we helped feed 100 dogs and 164 cats, and gave away a free spay/neuter for one cat and one dog.
