We are very blessed to have George Cumby as our Pastor at Noonday Methodist Church, Flint from July 2023 to present.

George Cumby is a retired football player who was a linebacker for eight seasons in the NFL during the 1980’s. He played college football for the Oklahoma Sooners, was three time All-American Linebacker, and first-round pick in the 1980 NFL Draft. George played professionally for the Green Bay Packers, Buffalo Bills, and Philadelphia Eagles.

George and Rose were married over 21 years ago, December 15, 2001. They have a blended family of eight children all together.

George Cumby was ordained and licensed in April 26, 1992 at Wheeler Ave Baptist Church, Houston, Texas. He pastored two churches from 2003 – 2008, and was a youth and young adult Pastor of Westbury United Methodist Church, Houston for 3 years.
